Our Favorite Actors from Night Court: Where Are They Now?

Karen Austin played court clerk Lana Wagner during the first season of Night Court. Lana was smart, sassy, and often the voice of reason when Judge Stone and the others got carried away. Austin had previously acted in films like Summer Rental and appeared on shows including St. Elsewhere and The Rockford Files.

Although her run was short, Lana made an impression as one of the original courtroom staff. Her dynamic with Harry Stone helped set the show’s tone, but she departed after Season 1, leaving room for new characters.
