#14: Overgrown Landscaping
Overgrown landscaping can hide the best parts of a home. Bushes covering windows, vines climbing siding, crowded beds, or tree limbs hanging too low can make the house look smaller, darker, and harder to care for than it really is.

Trim first, then add only what improves the view. Clear windows, cut back vines, remove dead plants, and keep beds simple. To avoid future trouble, choose plants that fit the space when mature instead of ones that will overwhelm the house later.
