When it comes to parenting, no one ever said it would be a walk in the park. Sure, some people might make it look effortless and easy, but it comes with many, many different challenges. But at the end of the day, it seems like most parents want to try and give their children the least damage possible… However, it seems like these parents weren’t too phased by their lack of parenting skills when push came to shove. Do you know how some people say some people should never become parents? We have a feeling that these were the people they were talking about. We have compiled a list of things not to do when being a parent so that you don’t make the same mistakes these people did…

#1: ADHD Superpowers
What was this mom thinking giving her daughter coffee at such a young age? Whilst her intentions were for the best, the caffeinated battle was no match for the sleep-inducing powers of ADHD. Little did she know that coffee was like a bedtime story for her child, inducing sleep instead of her dealing with her siblings.

Perhaps this mom could have reconsidered her approach of giving her daughter coffee and found better ADHD-friendly methods. Sure, coffee might be a suitable beverage for your 3pm slump, but it isn’t the best choice for a child. We hope that this once-sleepy child has grown into a unique and vibrant woman, unafraid to embrace her ADHD superpowers.

This kind of behavior is not only so unacceptable, but it is also wildly inappropriate. No child should have to be subject to their parents judging their school work in front of others…
#3: Someone Needs a Lesson in Grammar
There is nothing quite like feeling proud of your child’s achievements… Whether they paint a picture, hand in an essay, or perform in the school play, these different things have a way of making parents tear up at just the sight of them happening. But perhaps some parents should double-check their child’s work before they make their pride known…

We’re sure that seeing your child do many things is exciting and pride-inducing; however, when they write the wrong word, praising them will only confuse them further… We don’t know what is more upsetting, whether this mother is going to mislead her child or the fact that she herself doesn’t know the correct use between “their” and “they’re.”
#4: Lift Your Game
People always say that there is nothing more annoying than a teenage boy. And whilst they might have a point, there is also nothing quite like having an annoying mother. The two things might be annoying on different levels, but there is no denying that one is definitely worse than the other.

And in this instance, we’re pretty sure that this boy’s mother is being the unreasonable one in this situation. Sure, leaving the toilet seat up is annoying for the next person who needs to use the toilet, but it isn’t a reflection of their grades slipping or the fact that they might be using illicit substances…
