#14: Sensitive Elevator Feelings
Apparently, this elevator has emotions. Hold the door too long and it doesn’t just malfunction—it gets confused. Clicking noises, indecision, total freeze-up. It’s less a machine and more a nervous coworker who can’t handle pressure. Suddenly, pressing “door open” feels like you’re gaslighting a very fragile robot.

The sign even pleads: “Please don’t confuse the elevator.” As if we’re protecting its delicate self-esteem. You almost want to pat the metal walls and whisper, “It’s okay, buddy, take your time.” Who knew vertical transportation could have a full-blown identity crisis?
